If you cannot find a beginner's class at your local gym, another option is to watch some of the many CrossFit tutorials that are available online. These tutorials will teach you the basics of CrossFit and help you get started on your own so you don’t feel completely lost during your first session. 

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN STARTING CROSSFIT? 

When starting CrossFit, it is important to remember that this is a comprehensive fitness program that is designed to improve overall fitness, strength, and endurance. For just one hour per week, you’ll be able to see amazing results if you’re consistent with your training session. Talk about maximising your time!

To get the most results out of that time, your sessions will be intensive. Expect to work up a sweat quickly and feel your heart pumping in your chest, even within the first few minutes of the workout. Don’t be afraid to push yourself, but always listen to your body. Take quick breaks when necessary, and let your instructor know that you’ve reached your limit.

WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED WITH CROSSFIT?

One of the great things about CrossFit is the minimal equipment you need to get started. With a simple set of weights and determination, you can set up your at-home CrossFit gym and level up your workout. Here are some essential equipment you need to begin your journey to fitness.

A Pull-Up Bar

One of the most important pieces of equipment you'll need for CrossFit at home is a pull-up bar. Pull-ups are a great exercise for building upper body strength, and they can be done almost anywhere.
